Cinderella Pavilion Works

The Council has been working in partnership with the Heart of Worcestershire College and the England and Wales Cricket Board to re-open the historic Cinderella Cricket Ground at Bransford Road, Worcester.

So far, the ground has been cleared of 25 years of undergrowth and the cricket square and outfield re-laid. The boundary fence has been replaced.

The Council has obtained planning permission for a new Cricket Pavilion and are inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to build the structure of the pavilion and bring services to it. The pavilion will then be fitted out by Heart of Worcestershire College Students.

The design team for the new pavilion has been provided by Glazzards Architects, with Firmingers appointed as Quantity Surveyors. The Structural Engineer is AJR Services.

The approach to the project will be a traditional one, with full construction drawings and design information being provided to the successful Contractor by the design team listed above.
