Work description

Orbit is looking to procure a Financial Capability Support Service from high quality providers that will deliver a service that is demonstrably focused around the needs of Orbit customers. Orbit currently provides access to specialist money advice to around 1000 customers (tenants). We have a commissioned national partnership with a debt advice provider so customers can access crisis debt management through telephone, online and webchat support independently. This support is provided over the phone or online. We also currently have a commissioned national partnership which supports customers to improve their financial wellbeing and increase their income of which the contract expires March 31 2020. This tender is to recommission this service. Additionally, Orbit provides tenancy coaching for customers that have been identified to have a particular vulnerability. Often this includes benefit issues and we support 2000 individuals with this level of service every year. Our services provide end-to-end debt and benefits advice and take advantage of Orbit's unique position in customers' lives. The service will cover all Orbit stock, broken into 10 Lots as follows: Lot 1 - Bexley Lot 2 - Warwick District Lot 3 - Coventry, Nuneaton and Bedworth Lot 4 - Rugby and Northampton (incl. Kettering & Corby) Lot 5 - Stratford on Avon District Lot 6 - Thanet Lot 7 - Hastings and Rother Lot 8 - Norwich, Broadland, Waveney and Yarmouth Lot 9 - Digital and phone only Lot 10 - Service Design Further information can be found on the ProContract e-tendering system. Each Contract will be awarded for a period of two years with potential for a one year extension.
