GB-Blackpool: Blackpool Accommodation

Description

This project will upgrade the staff welfare accommodation at Blackpool Light Maintenance Depot (LMD). The project will incorporate upgrades and refurbishments to the following: •Refurbish the locker rooms and drying facilities. •Refurbish toilets, male shower, and installation of a female shower. •Repurpose the store room into the depot management office. •Repurpose the office into a meeting room. •Refurbish the workshop/office for depot fitters. •Refurbish the mess facilities. •Install a fire alarm system. •Upgrades to building accessibility. •Replace the gas heating system with electric air source heat system. •Replace Train Presentation storage containers. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
