WP3583 - Motivational Interviewing Training - AWARD

Walsall Council Children's Services seeks to commission a programme of Motivational Interview training and practice development to support the development of Family Safeguarding in our localities. There is an expectation that nominated staff from within Children's Services, associated service roles, support staff, managers and identified partners / stakeholders will receive training and practice development on Motivational Interviewing as part of the introduction and implementation of the Family Safeguarding model of practice. Family Safeguarding is expected to achieve better outcomes for children, young people and adult carers by supporting keeping families together and help reduce the number of children and young people in care.
