Market Engagement for the Provision of Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Service on Behalf of NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (GM ICB)

This service relates to the provision of a community vasectomy service. The service will provide safe non-scalpel vasectomy under local anaesthetic (LA) in a primary/community care setting in accordance with the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists - Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare Clinical Guidance - Male & Female Sterilisation (2014).

The Provision of Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Service described in this questionnaire and the draft specification, relates to the GM ICB intention to establish a contract agreement for up to a number of three years with the option to extend for an additional two years, with an indicative budget of £275 to £325 per patient and an estimated yearly value of up to £650,000 dependant on activity levels with an estimated overall total contract value of up to £3,250,000, including extensions.

This Market Engagement Questionnaire seeks the views and opinions of stakeholders and organisations that may be interested in delivering the Service.

This exercise and any subsequent responses are in no way legally binding on any party.
