Work description
The aim of this project is to gather evidence on Universal Credit Intensive Work Search (IWS) claimant and staff views and experiences of video and telephone work search review appointments and face-to-face appointments reviews ("blended channels") for claimants in the treatment sites) compared to face-to-face appointments in control sites. The research will help understand if the trial is being delivered according to the policy intent, and it will explore how the intervention works in practice and identify any recurrent operational issues. It will also provide evidence to inform policy decisions about a future national expansion of the trial intervention
