Provision of Bedding Plants Contract June 2021

Description

Tendring District Council (TDC) places much emphasis on the quality of the environment within the District for the benefit of residents and visitors and the provision of high class and colourful bedding plant displays throughout its public gardens form a major part of current grounds maintenance programme. TDC uses a wide range of seasonal bedding plants in its public gardens; the main displays are located at Clacton Sea Front, Crescent Gardens Frinton, Marine Gardens Walton and Mayors Garden Dovercourt. There are further smaller displays at other locations. Planting will usually commence during the 1st week of June for Summer Bedding and the 1st week of October for Autumn Bedding and is undertaken over a three to four week period and plants must be ready for delivery and planting. The Open Spaces team at TDC carry out the planting and maintenance.
