GB-Wymondham: PM14 - Rightup Lane, Wymondham

The project is to refurbish an existing detached 4-bedroom house to create a safe and welcoming space for young people under the care of Norfolk County Council between the ages of 16-18. The property will provide 24 hour staffed support to 4 residents to help them gain the skills for independent living. Staff accommodation will be created by conversion of the existing integral garage.

The works generally comprise internal alterations to create staff area on the ground floor, and the reconfiguring of an ensuite into a shared bathroom, including removal and addition of partition walls and modifications to the electrical and mechanical services within the premises. Additional fire system and security features to safeguard users and staff are also to be installed.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
