The Council are in ownership of the land of the former Merjen Engineering site \(now demolished\) and adjoining open space at the junction of Station Road and the Castle Street Roundabout in Portchester\. The Site has full planning permission for a single block comprising 16no aged restricted \(over 55 years old\) supported housing apartments \(a mix of one and two bedroom\), associated access, car parking and landscaping\.
