Wigan Council - Economic Market and Employment Land Assessment

Wigan Council is preparing a new Local Plan for the borough to 2040 and an Economic Market and Employment Land Assessment is needed to inform this. This is in large part to help ensure that the economic development and employment designations and allocations, related infrastructure and the planning policies associated with them will help the borough to meet its economic potential through to 2040 and beyond. But it is also to ensure that the wider suite of policies within the Local Plan also play their part.
