GB-Kielder: Transport of Roundwood Timber from Kielder Forest to Lockerbie Sawmill

Forestry England is looking to award a contract for the transport of round wood timber from Kielder Forest to Forest Garden Sawmill, Lockerbie.

Our intention is to award this contract for a period of 23 months to one contractor.

The decision on whether to use the extension option available will be at our discretion and we will base it on the following factors: performance.

The total value of this contract over the entire period will be in the region of £75,000.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
