a) Undertake a full geotechnical investigation of the embankment and carry out a stability analysis under full reservoir head and crest surcharge loading to determine the current factors of safety (investigations to include proving the type and depth of any water-tight element and an "internal erosion" assessment) and; \r b) undertake any required improvement works to provide an appropriate Factor of Safety and eliminate any internal erosion risks
