## Description

The University of Sheffield's Department of Physics and Astronomy, with funding from EPSRC \(Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council\), require a tuneable, near-infrared \(700-1000nm\) Ti:Sapphire continuous wave laser for optical spectroscopy of semiconductor-based photonic devices\. The principle uses of the laser will include resonant spectroscopy \(resonance fluorescence\) of quantum dots and high-power spectroscopy of devices containing quantum wells\. This is an open exercise\.
