Contract Award for: The provision of Sexual Exploitation Outreach Project Workers for ODPCVC The hidden nature of sexual exploitation means that it is difficult to estimate the scale of the issue. However, there is significant evidence that without specialist support victims are unlikely to have the confidence to seek the help they need to take back control of their lives and recover from their experience. Subsequently, the purpose of this project was to provide high quality frontline services to those at risk as a result of sexual exploitation. In particular, the project is expected to provide an evidence base in relation to the nature and scale of the issue in County Durham and Darlington and enable the planning and commissioning of future support that ensures opportunities to increase safety are prioritised and maximised.
