Description
The project comprises of the refurbishment of existing laboratory spaces to provide modernised dry and wet laboratory/ workshop space for the Physics Department. The scope includes but is not limited to the following: - Removal of all existing laboratory furniture and finishes. - Where necessary, removal of the existing ceiling system and exposing the soffit. - Remodelling of the laboratory areas, including fixed furniture. - Full decoration. - New floor finishes. - Replacing existing doors with fire rated DDA compliant door-sets. - Supply and install of new power, data and lighting. - Heating, cooling, and ventilation works. - New powder coated Aluminium windows. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
