The East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) is seeking to appoint a specialist visitor economy marketing agency to elevate the East Midlands' profile, promoting tourism through collaborative regional campaigns involving Visit Peak District Derbyshire and Derby (VPDD) and Visit Nottinghamshire (MNN) • Campaign Objectives: The campaigns aim to drive overnight stays and forward bookings for 2026, increase domestic tourism, promote inclusivity, and highlight accessible, authentic experiences in Derbyshire, Derby City, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire. • Nottinghamshire Campaign Focus: This campaign targets sports spectators and cultural consumers within a 1-2 hour drive radius, encouraging repeat visits and extended stays beyond events, emphasizing the region's diverse sports, culture, food, heritage, and nature offerings. • Derbyshire Campaign Focus: A London-based campaign aims to inspire Londoners and nearby audiences to choose the Peak District, Derbyshire, and Derby for short breaks, highlighting rejuvenating nature-led escapes and cultural experiences less than two hours from the capital.
