Research to scope support for the sector to implement the Sainsbury Review

Contracts were awarded to provide intelligence to help shape the support the Foundation provides to assist the sector to implement the recommendations of the Independent Panel on Technical Education (the Sainsbury Review). Tenderers could cover one or more of three strands. The three strands included: - Strand 1 - Identifying the challenges for practitioners, leaders, managers and governors in providers in implementing the recommendations of the Sainsbury Review - Strand 2 - Mapping the skills of the current workforce and identifying gaps - Strand 3 - Identifying and learning from approaches to support the workforce taken in other countries.
