Sheltered Accommodation & Dispersed Alarm Service

Sheltered Accommodation\r \r To provide support to Knowsley residents to enable them to live independently who are generally over the age of 55 years. There is assistance from a scheme manager (warden) or support staff, 24-hour emergency response through an alarm system, majority have communal areas and social activities for residents.\r \r Dispersed Alarm Service\r \r The dispersed alarm service is a telecare monitoring system for residents living in their own homes in the community but it is not part of the sheltered accommodation service. The service provides an emergency response should a resident activate the telecare monitoring alarm 24 hours a day to either Home Care Link or the providers own telecare monitoring provider.
