Transport modelling assessment brief

Tewkesbury Borough Council (the Authority) is seeking to appoint a consultant to undertake transport assessment and modelling work as part of its review of potential site options for housing and employment development for the Tewkesbury Borough Plan (the Borough Plan). A strategic level Transport Strategy has already been developed to support the preparation of the Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Joint Core Strategy. As part of this, strategic transport modelling work was undertaken by consultants AMEY throughout 2016/17 utilising the Central Severn Vale SATURN traffic model. However, a local level transport assessment of site options is required as part of exploring the potential of non-strategic scale sites to accommodate growth in the Borough Plan.
