Description

The First Ark Group consists of five companies that work together with the over-riding purpose of making a real positive difference to our communities and to people’s lives. First Ark Group is seeking bids from service providers to provide waste management and recycling services primarily within the Knowsley area, to support the work undertaken by First Ark's maintenance team, Vivark. The Vivark team consists of approximately 207 operatives with a fleet of around 176 vehicles. Provisions may be required across the North West of England to support the Group's operational growth requirements. Services initially required are split into the following lots: Lot 1: Skip hire Lot 2: Waste drop-off and recycling The final contract award is envisaged to be to one bidder for each lot however both contracts may be awarded to the same service provider. Submissions are to be submitted through the Cirrus Purchasing eTender system only. Additional information: There are two 12 month/annual extensions available following the initial 3 year (36 month) contract period for both lots. These options therefore allow for a total contract duration of 5 years (60 months). Options will be taken at the discretion of First Ark Group and subject to the performance of the successful service provider. For the purpose of this contract notice, the contract duration and contract value is based on 5 years.
