West Yorkshire Patient Transport Services

NHS Calderdale CCG acting in its capacity as Lead Commissioner for the Patient Transport Services contract delivered across West Yorkshire.This notice is to advise that Commissioners have agreed to contract with the current provider of patient transport services (Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust) from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2019. During the term of the contract Commissioners are working to develop a comprehensive model for patient transport services that takes into account local CCG requirements as well as requirements for transport across West Yorkshire. The procurement approach either by individual CCG or across West Yorkshire will be determined through this work. The list of CCGs participating in this collaborative contract are Calderdale, Greater Huddersfield, North Kirklees, Wakefield, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, Bradford City, Bradford Districts, Leeds North, Leeds South and East and Leeds West .
