## Description

The Market sustainability and fair cost of care fund reforms provide an opportunity to improve equitable access to quality and cost-effective care provider services\. The successful implementation of the Fair Cost of Care reforms shall provide a great opportunity to local authorities and the care provider sector to jointly review the existing cost of care operating methods, and plan ahead a fair cost for care, this aims to maintain the future financial sustainability of the sector\. The Fair Cost of Care reforms apply to the Care home sector for age 65\+ years and Home care \(Domiciliary care\) sector for age 18\+ years\.
