Work description
Highways England is looking to set up a contract, in the financial year 2018/19, for the provision of a technical service to deliver a clear understanding of the benefits from automating high risk processes that put our road workers at risk. For the purposes of this initial project, "high risk processes or activities" should be understood as those activities on the Strategic Road Network where we use IPVs to protect our customers when we are working on the carriageway and/or are installing temporary traffic management (TTM) to close lanes for road works.
