## Description

HSE is responsible for the regulation of certain types of chemi cals, including the highly regulated pesticides - Biocides and Plant Protection Products \(PPPs\)\. Under the Biocides and PPP Regulations, we assess these chemicals for risk to hu mans and the environment before they can be placed on the market\.
