Snowdon Road Accomodation Facilities - Main Contract Works

Description

Fylde Council is a progressive Local Authority located on the Lancashire coast. Two of its key services for the residents of the Borough are refuse collection and parks maintenance and development, which is proudly delivered in house. To facilitate this service, both departments are reliant on operatives working outdoor all year round. There is a need therefore, to accommodate personnel when 'on site' and provide modern welfare facilities with additional training and break out areas. In addition, there is a requirement to accommodate management and supervisors in an office setting within the same building. It has been decided and approved by Council that the Technical Services department at Fylde Council will deliver a new build extension to the current Parks building, to accommodate the welfare and office needs of both the Refuse and Parks departments. The Council wishes to appoint a main contractor to deliver a portal frame building extension and associated external works.
