THIS NOTICE RELATES TO AN EARLY ENGAGEMENT PROCESS ONLY - IT IS NOT PART OF NOR DOES IT CONSTITUTE THE COMMENCEMENT OF A PROCUREMENT PROCESS This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an indication of potential future procurement activity and may be subject to change. This notice makes no commitment to procure any services. This PIN is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. In order to understand the opportunities available in the marketplace, Great Baddow Parish Council (The Council) invites potential suppliers to express an interest and to discuss outline proposals to provide the maintenance of the Recreation Ground and Noakes Park, Allotment sites and other ancillary sites in Great Baddow. The maintenance of the Recreation Ground and Noakes Park will include general grass cutting and strimming, cutting of the cricket outfield and football pitches, maintenance of planted areas, cutting hedges, occasional minor work to trees, maintaining ditches and litter collection. The cleaning of changing rooms is also included. The Council manages two allotment sites in Great Baddow, which will include maintaining grass pathways, strimming unused allotments and cutting hedges. The other sites include grass cutting on a highways roundabout, maintaining a Rhododendron bed outside the church and small maintenance jobs on various bus shelters, benches etc. Spraying will be required and a suitably qualified person will be need to carry out this work. The length of any contract is not yet decided but initial indications are that it will be for 3 years.
