## Description

Quotation for Buggy Walks across Sandwell Sandwell "Council" is seeking to appoint an experienced provider to deliver a comprehensive, high quality and cost effective programme of Buggy Walks across Sandwell\. Local research undertaken by Cordis Bright in Sandwell \(2016\) highlighted; • Parents would like health and wellbeing activities including "general fitness to lose weight gained during pregnancy"\. • These should be delivered in line with the maternity pathway; in local accessible and trusted venues and by such trusted professionals\. The service is a town based approach and must be needs I insight led\. The provider will be monitored and managed closely against the service aims, description and KPls outlined in the specification\. The outcomes must ensure: 1\. Engage with relevant services in the maternal and post-natal field such as \(not exclusive of, or limited\) to; Health Visitors, Children's Centres, Family Information Service, Maternal Wellbeing Team\. 2\. Develop volunteers to take ownership of, and lead the buggy walks as a means of sustainability\. 3\. Provide clear exit routes into either community or other appropriate physical activity, in which participants are encouraged to continue their physical activity journey\.
