e-ITT for the provision of Open Space Enhancement Works at Ashington Park, New Milton
Closing Date for Submission of Tenders 12.00 NOON, 12th JULY 2023 To be returned electronically via the Council's e-tendering solution "Pro-Contract" hosted on the South East Business Portal (SEBP)
Landscape Works to enhance Ashington Park for informal recreation in accordance with New Forest District Councils Mitigation Strategy: Mitigation for Recreational Impacts SPD 21 and Infrastructure Delivery Plan.
The project will enhance the existing Public Open Space by resurfacing footpaths, creating new footpaths along existing desire lines, and provide a new stream crossing. Seating will be introduced along the footpath. The access points will be enhanced through clearing vegetation, signage and restoring the grass verge (to enhance biodiversity) and bringing the woodland back into positive management.
