Description
This research requirement seeks to validate DNA methods to detect mislabelling of meat to provide a quantitative method which is sufficiently robust in applications under legislation relating to food labelling. The research will include a collaborative trial across up to 3 laboratories to yield a 'gold standard' method for use by Public Analysts/Official Control Laboratories in a court of law.
