## Description

Central procurement Vitamin D supplements for Nursing and Residential Homes\. Vitamin D is needed for healthy bones and muscles and during autumn and winter, everyone is advised to take a vitamin D supplement of 10 micrograms\. DHSC wishes to procure vitamin D for vulnerable population groups\. This is because they may have been indoors more than usual this year and therefore it is even more important to take a vitamin D supplement as we go into the winter months to protect musculoskeletal health\. This procurement will concern the supply, of vitamin D to vulnerable groups\.
