Description
This procurement exercise is for the delivery of a Civil Engineering Works project; Southport East West Link & Coastal Path Cycle Improvement scheme on behalf of Sefton Council. The scheme will consist of a number of cycle improvement schemes at various locations in and around Southport to improve the East - West cycle links, in advance of the long term expansion of the existing Kew Business Park and the development of over 1500 homes are planned for the area around Kew. Funding has been secured through a combination of the Sustainable Transport Enhancement Programme (Local Growth Fund) and the Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) fund (funded through the European Regional development Fund). The scheme funding is being administered by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
