Work description
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking to obtain the services of an experienced and qualified contractor for the purposes of conducting a comprehensive, representative and impartial telephone survey to inform the development of a number of strategies, namely the Open Space Strategy, Idea Store Strategy, Leisure Facilities Strategy and Sport & Physical Activity Strategy.
This public consultation process through market research will form a crucial element to understanding how residents participate in their local community, and in particular how they take part in cultural and leisure activities. As part of the early engagement process to understand the views of residents, the council is interested in finding out how and why residents are using their local leisure facilities, Idea Stores and parks and open spaces, what would increase participation, and identify barriers to engagement and participation. The findings from the survey will help set the direction of travel for the four strategies.
