## Description

In partnership with the Great Place GM project and working with Manchester Museum and GMCA, Ambition for Ageing require providers to support older people to become Culture Champion volunteers, facilitate cultural activity design, and manage small payments to develop new activities in Greater Manchester\. The aim of the project is to develop age-friendly volunteering and engagement in cultural activities\. This work will align with and support an expansion of the existing Culture Champions project in Manchester\. There are 2 streams to this opportunity: 1\) We are looking for 3 providers to deliver the project in the following Ambition for Ageing areas: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Tameside, Wigan\. We will fund no more than one project in a single area\. In total there will be three areas selected from the above list\. 2\) We are looking for 1 provider to deliver and expand the existing Culture Champions project in Manchester\. New inclusive approaches are needed to better reflect the diverse needs and interests of older people, particularly those from marginalised communities who are most at risk of social isolation and those older people who do not currently access cultural activity in their local areas\.
