## Description

Wiltshire Council is seeking quotations from suppliers able to analyse samples from private water supplies to determine standards and drinking water for human consumption\. The Water Industry Act 1991 is the primary national legislation and defines Local Authority powers and responsibilities in relation to private water supplies\. The water samples must be analysed by a facility which is UKAS accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 to the Drinking Water Testing Specification \(DWTS\) for the analysis of private water supply samples\.
