336 - Kent Wildlife Trust

This contract has been awarded to work with 12 farmers and land managers as well as utility companies and local government funders to test the role of blended finance in the delivery of landscape recovery projects. They will consider the balance of real-time funding options for multiple farms across two geographically distinct areas, exploring the farmer decision process in selecting income streams, the payment rates required and highlight the gaps private finance is unable to fill. In doing so they will test how collaborative landscape recovery projects can be planned, the support and incentives required and any barriers to be overcome.
