This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the RM6126 CCS Research & Insights DPS.

This project addresses a key evidence gap in our understanding of the space sector, a gap that limits our ability to target government intervention effectively. Our understanding of the space sector is fundamentally a static one. Through the Size and Health of the Space Sector reports we have annual snapshots of the sector - what we lack is a dynamic understanding of how and why the sector has changed between Size and Health reports. Crucially, we do not know enough about why and how space sector SMEs survive and thrive.
