Additive Manufacturing Cell

ORE Catapult is seeking to procure a Turnkey Additive Manufacturing (AM) Cell capable of producing thermoplastic-based fibre reinforced components. The AM Cell will allow the rapid production of physical demonstrators and parts for components used for wind and marine renewable energy devices and ancillary support tooling and jigs. Primarily the AM Cell will provide a testbed for future materials and manufacturing research. Secondarily the AM Cell will produce ready to use components, and fixtures, reducing engineering development time and cost, enhanced component accuracy and time to market, improving reliability and mitigating the risks associated with deployment of these devices.
