Winsford Police Station - Minor Alterations to Station & Garage Block Main Station. The work involves internal alterations to an operational police station, to provide additional office accommodation and briefing facilities together with the refurbishment of the toilet facilities. The work involves removal of masonry walls and sanitary fittings. New stud partitions with new timber door sets and new suspended ceilings. The refurbishment of the toilet facilities includes stripping out existing fittings and the installation of new sanitary fittings and tiling. The electrical installation, new carpets and decoration will be by others. Garage Block Alterations to the existing garage block to form a store. The work involves removal of roller shutter doors, blocking up openings in brick/blockwork, to be built off new concrete foundations. New concrete floor slab in order to raise the height of the garage floor. Supply and installation of new steel doors. Electrical installation will be by others. The budget cost for the works is £25k main station and £24k garage) Building works is estimated to take 6 weeks to complete
