## Description

The East of England Ambulance Trust \(EEAST\) covers the six counties which make up the East of England – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and provides a range of services, but is best known for the 999 emergency service\. Our dedicated and skilled staff work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to make sure patients receive the best possible care The Trust has approximately 75 non-emergency employees that do not hold a current C1 Driving Licence \(by acquired rights or by actual qualification\) and are required to obtain this qualification by January 2017 at the latest\. The Trust is seeking a selection of training providers throughout Suffolk, Waveney, Essex and Cambridgeshire that can deliver the training\. Courses and test centre\(s\) must be located within Suffolk, Waveney, Essex and Cambridgeshire\. Suppliers can select which locations they would like to bid for, if not all\. Suppliers must have “Vocational Trainer Booking Facilities” to enable an accelerated path to test availability\. The duration of the contract will be one \(1\) year with an option to extend for up to one \(1\) further period of twelve \(12\) months\.
