## Description

Maidstone Borough Council owns several pedestrian and vehicular bridges that require regular inspection based on the guidance in CS 450 for the inspection of Highway structures \(previously BD63/17\) which recommends that a General Inspection is carried out every two years and a Principal Inspection is carried out every six years\. Maidstone Borough Council \(MBC\) is proposing to enter into a 6-year Contract to cover General and Principal inspections to each of its 22 bridges\.
