Street Lighting Products & Services CPR WAIVER

Description

The services supplied under this contract are for management of council highways structures and to insure the council is carrying out its statutory duties in inspection and testing. The previous contract was awarded through an OJEU Compliant further competition procurement and has run from 08/2017 to 05/2020. The current suppliers have indicated that they are happy to maintain the prices of this year's tender going forward. It is vital for us to have continuity of this service to allow us to facilitate request to install equipment to existing columns such as CCTV. This waiver is to allow the markets time to recover from COVID-19 shut downs and for suppliers to ascertain their ability to support any new tender, thus giving Doncaster the benefit of the full market on re-opening.
