Description
Historic England requires an agile mobile robot, designed to carry field survey equipment, which can be controlled remotely and which can enter unsafe spaces for survey without endangering life. The robot must be able to mount a Leica RTC360 laser scanner as a remotely-operated payload for survey purposes. The robot will be used in and around buildings and structures which may be structurally unsafe or have other access issues which make it dangerous for humans to enter. Delivery will be either by collection from the supplier or delivery to our York office. An introduction to the unit and basic training, sufficient to get the robot safely operable, should be provided.
