## Description

Notification of contract extension; This service provides fully qualified Healthcare Professionals to the 8 Custody Suites in the Thames Valley Police region to assess, treat and signpost Detainees to ensure fitness for detention/charging\. The contract was originally awarded in May 2020 for a maximum of 4 years \(2\+2\) commencing 1st June 2020, the initial contract period expiring 31st May 2022\. The contract has been extended for the remaining period of time to 31st May 2024\.
