## Description

In order to optimise the potential of its river valleys, the city is commissioning a River Valley Strategy Report \(with the focus on the rivers Irk, Medlock and Mersey\) and an associated GIS database\. The Strategy Report will be developed over a period of one year from 1 April 2020\. It will consist of one cover report \(providing an over-arching summary review of the city's rivers\) and three individual river valley strategies with action plans focusing on the rivers Irk, Medlock and Mersey\.
