Description
BEIS require an evaluation of the reformed Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme, expected to be launched in April 2017. The evaluation is required to provide an assessment of the impact of the scheme and to provide strategic learning to inform heat policy development. It is expected that the evaluation will deliver a range of specific activities, structured around a theory based evaluation approach. The expected activities are: •Scoping and setup phase •Detailed applicant monitoring •Detailed qualitative insight from key audiences •Quasi-experimental impact assessment •Sustainable markets assessment •Case studies of low-volume technologies •Cost-effectiveness assessment •Competition and trade assessment
