Description
This research aims to understand how UK healthcare regulators (e.g. the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)) and regulators in overseas countries (i.e. Canada, the United States of America, Australia, New Zealand or European member states) regulate doctors, other healthcare providers (e.g. pharmacists) and healthcare services, where the services are provided remotely. That is, when the individual providing the service is in a different physical location to the patient receiving the service.
