Work description

the provision of a drug and alcohol prevention and treatment Services for young people in Kirklees supporting young people up to 21 years of age. The service will help young people make informed choices about their alcohol and drug use, and to raise awareness of all the risks involved. This includes providing high quality and responsive support and assistance to parents and carers, schools, colleges, statutory services and other young people. The provider will deliver services to meet particular needs which will be broadly related to the intensity of the intervention required, as follows: a. Specialist Intervention Services (for those needing Tier 3 type interventions); b. Targeted Interventions (for those who are at an "at risk stage" and require Tier 2 type interventions); c. Prevention and Early Interventions (to reduce risky behaviour); d. Adult Service Partnerships; and e. Other Services.
