The Sanctuary, Hastings - Mental Health Crisis Accommodation Service \(Reference 20\.661\) NHS East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group Request for Information \(RFI\) The Commissioner is seeking the views of Healthcare Providers for a Mental Health Crisis Accommodation and Borderline Personality Disorder Guesting Service in Hastings, East Sussex\. The anticipated value of this Service is £386,000\.00 per annum\. The Commissioner is considering a contract period of 3 years plus an optional extension period of up to 2 further years \(3\+2\)\. This is a process designed to help the Commissioner form a view of the best way to commission the service and is not the beginning of a Tender exercise\. A Tender advertisement may be issued in due course, should the Commissioner consider this the optimum route to commission the service\. Aims and objectives of the service are: Aims: • Improved & sustainable outcomes for clients • Individual resilience development • Reduction in inpatient admissions Objectives: • A suitable, non-medical alternative to hospital admission for identified people experiencing a mental health crisis • Short stay crisis/respite provision for individuals diagnosed with a personality disorder • Emotional and practical support to enable residents to manage and resolve their own periods of crisis including utilising support structures and facilities available in the community\.
