## Description

Oliver Cromwell's House is a listed Grade 2\* building\. The proposed works are to replace a cill beam at first floor level on the front elevation with associated repairs to the adjoining studs and floor joists\. This includes the removal of the ceiling from the front ground floor room currently used as the tourist information centre to allow for woodwork treatment\. This is specialist work due to the nature of the building\.
