Work description
Hull City Council's Major Projects Team is tasked with delivering the large scale capital projects which will transform Hull into a major visitor destination. This tender concerns the main works to the buildings, structures and landscaping within Pearson Park, a Grade II listed Public Park situated off Beverley Road in Hull. The Council has been successful in its Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Parks for People Second Stage Application for funding to carry out a comprehensive restoration of Pearson Park. As such, we are looking to procure a contractor with a specialism in carrying out the specified works (RIBA stages 5-7) that will restore this important historical park to its full glory. *(Please note that this contract excludes the works to restore the Pearson Park Entrance Gateway which was the subject of a separate tender)* The Specification within Schedule 2 of this document gives further specific detail on the Council's scope of requirement for this project. The appointment will require the successful bidder to make an immediate start on the project, working with the Council's appointed project design team (Southern Green Limited) and the Principal Designer (Hugh Massey Architects Limited).
